The game widely played during Halloween is 'trick-or-treating', in which children dress up in varied costumes, disguise themselves and visit every house in their neighborhood, ringing each doorbell and yelling "trick or treat!" The occupants of the houses will then hand out small token gifts like candies, miniature chocolate bars, toffees or other similar treats. Halloween nights, at times, are marred by vandalism such as soaping windows, egging houses or stringing toilet paper through trees and ragging neighbors.
