Entrepreneurship is defined as a practice of starting new organizations or revitalizing the mature ones depending on the available opportunities. At the moment every company is surrounded by competition every individual performs well, every company tried utilizing its entire potential. Corporate entrepreneurship as defined by Stevenson Roberts and Grousbeck is the process by which individuals inside organizations pursue opportunities without regard to the resources they currently control.

According to Mr Crane, Corporate Entrepreneurship “C involves the development within an existing corporation of internal markets and autonomous business units, producing products, services, or technologies that employ the firm’s resources in a unique way to capitalize on identified opportunities for growth. ”

In other terms, Corporate Entrepreneurship is the rationalization of whole means in the company in the aim to get long-term profit. To succeed in today’s unpredictable world, companies large and small must be agile and able to respond quickly to fast-moving markets.

Hence building dynamic potentials that are differentiated from those of the emerging competitors is the major challenge for growing firms. Corporate entrepreneurship represents a framework for the facilitation of happening change and innovation in the existing organizations. It provides a framework for coping effectively with the new competitive realities that companies encounter in the global marketplace.

A corporate entrepreneur can be a person who has an idea and is willing to and is capable of turning that idea into a successful innovation. If a company consists of such efficient entrepreneurs, it is bound to do better than the rest. The working atmosphere and the focus of the company depend on the entrepreneurs and how well they take up their entrepreneurship. How well the entrepreneur interacts with his colleagues and elicits an entrepreneurial atmosphere. How well the individual grasps a piece of information and is able to move the crowd. All such qualities prove to be a strategy in appealing more firms.

Therefore, entrepreneurship does establish how dedicated one is toward his/her workplace and signifies the efficiency. An efficient entrepreneur helps in significant growth of the economy and builds better strategy for the company. Considering the meaning of Corporate Entrepreneurship, we could note it concerns merely parts in companies. Corporate Entrepreneurship could be learned but it is difficult to be applied in regard of sectors. For instance, automotive sector is currently a really competitive one. In spite of what we could think, the main strategy is not only concentrated on cars’ production. Renault for instance used survey to know the needs of its employees in the order to get their satisfaction. Currently, this satisfaction and subsequently the motivation are difficult to get because of the economic difficulties of the company.
