Computer animation is fascinating and possesses a good history which will interest anyone who really wants to be concerned using this design with animation. The animation in the USA was highly influenced by European animators during the 19th century. As the popularity with the film increased, animation originated further. computer animation in the 3D sense, took the level of animation one step further, and helped to improve the complete experience.

The basic notion of the comic strip is visible as far back as 2000 BC on many Egyptian walls as decoration. Throughout successive panels, the photos would tell a story, and possess exciting graphics making sure it's readers were able to grasp the full intent of the story. There were many different forms of basic animation used through the many years of communicating through writing. However, the invention of the motion camera and projector brought animation to life.

Throughout the early years, the animation was incredibly basic, and nothing like the incredible computer animation we've today. Although designs were simple, audiences were fascinated with the belief that basic drawings could come to life. The instant appeal soon wore off and during earlier twenties when everyone became sick and tired of this form of animation. Movie makers searched fresh, new ideas, to capture the audiences and get them spending money on films.

The idea of keyframe was soon developed and that which was thought to be the very first featured film ever made. The concept of keyframe was developed and improved rapidly, allowing the velocity rate and animation to be seen as quicker and more smooth. Computer animation was still a long way off; however, significant developments were taking place.

Walt Disney Studios was of course the first ones to change the direction of animation. Walt's creative side allowed developments well beyond anyone's imagination. With his advancements in the field of animation, others would enhance computer animation even further. Disney produced he first ever feature length animated movie, and never looked back.

Disney took a gigantic leap forward and provided methods and technology that is still driving the industry today. The very first movie to use computer animation was Westworld in 1973, that was incredible to view. The technology and process behind the computer animation was created even more by Pixar. This incredible company ensured that once they released their first animated movie, it absolutely was going to be a massive success.

Pixar soon became the pioneering company inside the industry, and anybody who dreamed of being part of the new generation of computer animation planned to work for this company. Pixar always aspired for greater things, as well as meeting a yearly goal of making at least a few new developments in the 3D world. Following impressive success of Toy Story, Pixar quickly went onto make more award winning movies.

Computers and imaginations have both developed and grown to make sure that future computer animations dreams are possible. In the humble beginnings animation became popular and today it has become a necessity.
