NHL competitions proceed on the ground. In a general way; there are six players on the ground at the same time. Each team has a goalkeeper and five players who all wear skates. The goal of the game is to rip the so called "Puck" into the enemy's goal, which is made of hard rubber disc and then scored. Players use a curved blade of long bar to control the ice hockey.
Each formal NHL game will spend sixty minutes. The competition is divided into three sections, each section will cost twenty minutes. Between each section, there is a pause of fifteen minutes. Overtime is limited to five minutes, and the golden tournament system will be taken. Any side can win if they rip into the first goal, excluding the goalie. In the playoffs, the overtime rules are different. The method of mutual is deleted; replaced by the unlimited twenty minutes overtime of five to five, golden goal is taken again in this part. Theoretically, the game could go on indefinitely, but only a few games had more than four hours overtime, which is no more than six overtime periods.
