A vitamin E supplement and an ecream have one thing in common and that's none other than having vitamin E, of course. The only difference is that vitamin E supplements are something that you take regularly on a daily basis, whereas an ecream is something that you apply on the skin. In the study, 96 people between the ages of 10 and 60 years old were involved. These were people that the researchers classified to have "moderate eczema". They randomly chose people - some of which receiving 400 IU of vitamin E and some which were to receive a placebo. For a span of eight months, these people either took vitamin E or placebo daily. At the end of this observation period, they found that more than 60 percent of the participants which took vitamin E said they experienced "great improvement" while the remaining 40 percent still reported they did see little improvement in their eczema. As for the participants that took placebos to test whether psychology played a role in improving eczema, only 2 percent said they had significant improvement of their eczema.

While only vitamin E supplements were involved in the study, it does not mean that a person with eczema no longer has to use an ecream. In fact, a person that has an eczema rash may need the combination of these two in treating his or her eczema.

Vitamin E is truly an authentic eczema natural treatment having been proven to be effective against people that actually have eczema. When used in the forms of supplementation and an ecream, an eczema patient can double his or her protection against this irritating skin condition.
