Holi is the time when the whole nation indulges in the vibrancy of colors. Even though Holi is known by different names in different regions of India, it is celebrated with the same fervor and excitement throughout the nation and even abroad. India is popularly known as the land of colors, hence it is quite natural that this celebration is most awaited by people and has also managed to gain worldwide fame thanks to the sheer fun factor of this festival. Holi begins with people playing wildly with vibrant color powders known as gulal or abir. Alternatively, colored water is also sprayed on family and friends as a part of this boisterous celebration. Holi offers them an opportunity to try out ethnic outfits such as Kurta Pyjama, Churidar Kurta, Pathani Suit, Dhoti Kurta, etc in vibrant reds, oranges or yellows. Enjoying Holi shouldn’t just be limited to playing with colors or applying colors on others, it should be celebrated by also wearing vivid shades to look bright and beautiful!
