Colorado is a US state located in the Western area of the Country. Colorado's population currently stands at nearly five million people. The capital of the state is the amazing city of Denver; it alone has a population of over half a million people, whilst the Denver metropolitan region has nearly two and a half million residents.

Most people who think about Colorado immediately recognize it as the location for the stunning and world famous Rocky Mountains. The Rocky Mountains are a vast mountain range which stretches for more than 4,800 kilometres, but its highest peak is located in Colorado and is named Mount Elbert. Visitors can experience the amazing peaks in Colorado by staying in the nearby city of Leadville which offers comfortable Colorado bed and breakfast accommodation and condo rentals.
