Bucket and Wringer Care:
• Keep equipment in good repair.
• Use bucket and wringer of proper size for mop.
• Don't lengthen handle of wringer.
• Don't use force on wringer lever.
• Clean buckets, tanks and wringers with EPA Registered cleaner/disinfectant after each use. Dry well before storing, or store where they can dry as quickly as possible.
• Keep foreign matter out of wringer.

Plastic Spray Bottle Care:
• Clean the exterior with a damp paper towel.
• Store in a clean, dry place.

Care of Brushes:

Types of Brushes:
• Corner or Baseboard
• Counter
• Deck scrub
• Floor sweeping
• Radiator
• Toilet bowl
• Scrubbing machine
• Sink or Pot

Clean-Up of Brushes:
Note: Be careful not to knock the wooden handle or frame against anything or it may split.
• Rinse out in clear, cold water.
• Shake out excess water.
• If dirty, wash out in lukewarm cleaning solution and rinse.
• Let dry with bristles straight.
• Comb out the bristles occasionally to remove junk and tangles.

Storage of Brushes:
• Hang up.
• Be sure weight is not on bristles (otherwise they will be bent out of shape and will never do a good job. Warped floor brushes, for example, will cause vibration, miss spots and double your work when scrubbing or buffing.)
• If storing for long, protect from moths by using moth balls or insecticides.
• Do not us a broom when it is wet. This will soften the straw and cause loss of shape.
• Always hang the broom when it is not in use. Never stand a broom on the straws.
• Do not use a broom for scrubbing.
• Rotate the broom when you use it to help it wear evenly.
• Store the broom where there is free circulating air.
• To hang a broom on a nail, put a string loop through the hole n ear the end of the handle.

Carpet Sweeper Care:
• Empty sweepings into the trash can or onto a paper after each use.
• Fold the paper and discard it into trash.
• Dust the sweeper with a damp cloth.
• Remove the strings and debris from the brush and wheels.
• Oil the wheels once a week.

Caution Sign Care:
• Clean after each use.
• Avoid rough handling.

Cleaning Cloth Care:
• Rinse frequently during use.
• Wring free of excess water.
• Launder when dirty (at least daily). Note: Keep separate from other linen.
• Never have dirty cloths lying around...they are a disease hazard.
• Discard greasy or oily rags.

Care of Treated Cleaning Cloths:
• Beware of the fire hazard of some types.
• Treating your own: spray lightly with solution, store in metal container or plastic bag for several hours (if not overnight) while solution soaks in.
