Clapping Controlled Digital Projection Clock - By: Go Bindaas!

The time machine!

Let time do the talking

Suddenly, I heard a loud clap!

One clap and my eyes opened wide. It was the 19th of January, 2010. My ears were whirring with the alarm of my Clapping Controlled Digital Projection Clock and right in front of my eyes, the clock projected digital time and date on my ceiling. The roof flashed with red digits – 5:00 AM.

I had woken up from a weird dream. A dream in which I was racing against time. I could feel the sweat streaming down the side of my ears as my calf-muscles thumped on the hard-barrel ground. I hunted for my watch but there was none. I desperately needed to know the time.

A sign flashed in front of my eyes: ‘Hurry up! 10 seconds left.’ I gathered speed. My breathing became harder. I saw a big iron gate at a distance. And it was closing…slowly. The voice inside my head warned me to run faster; I had to enter that gate before it was locked. With each step, I was closer to the gate. As I made for the last few skips, a loud siren blew, the sound of which blasted my ears. Two seconds to go; the gate had a very narrow vent left. The loudness of the sound increased. I put my heart into my last step and with a leap I was across the other side. The gate slammed shut behind me. All I could hear was the claps of thunder.

And then, a loud clap like a bolt from the bare blue woke me up. One clap and my eyes opened wide. It was the 19th of January, 2010. My ears were whirring with the alarm of my Clapping Controlled Digital Projection Clock and the roof flashed with red digits – 5:00 AM.

So it was a dream! I love travelling and sometimes don’t mind visiting unusual places even in my dreams. This time, however, it was time-travel! The Digital Projection Clock showed the time, date, month and day. It also showed me the temperature in Celsius and Fahrenheit. Good! It was 18 degree Celsius; promise of a pleasant day ahead. The LED backlight of my Projection Clock turned off after 5 seconds.

I had become so dependent on my Digital Projection Clock for everything – be it the calendar or time, its projecting rays, multi lingual feature, temperature, dual alarm or the adjustable angle and focus of projection.
