Most people would agree that you can't celebrate winter - or Christmas - without at least one snowman, even if you live in the southern hemisphere and enjoy sunshine at Christmas time. Snowmen are very cheap and easy to make, and they make wonderful tree ornaments as well as stand alone decorations, such as a centerpiece for a dining or coffee table.
