Politicians as usual led the way but they got a run for their money from certain star athletes.

The ways some of them got caught shows that some of those cliché ridden tell tale signs still work like a charm. For instance the strange phone calls to the house got one sport celebrity busted big time. Another was the case of the disappearing politician whose movements and whereabouts did not add up. Eventually he had to confess that that he had a mistress in another country that's why no one could find him.

Another political figure had gotten a little too familiar with someone they worked with. In fact the person turned out to be a staffer whose husband was also on this politician's payroll.

Being with someone that you spend a good deal of time with is too much temptation for some people so its no wonder that office romances have tended to flourish while breaking up more than a few marriages.

It may not turn out to be lust at first sight but over time the attraction is undeniable. That's why the working late excuse is one of those tell tale signs of infidelity.

And the friendly face is not confined to the office. Sometimes it is someone you know like a good friend of yours that you introduced your spouse too. Or even a relative that you trust with some intimate details regarding your relationship. It's not necessarily that you want to walk around paranoid every time your spouse leaves the house or someone comes to visit the two of you.

But if something is telling your intuition that things are not as they seem within your marriage relationship then checking up on some of those friendly faces may be a good place to start looking and find out whether or not your intuition is correct.
