This leads us back to the infomercials and advertisements for more exercise equipment or the promise of the newest fat loss supplement full of caffeine. We're all caught up in the vanity addiction of today's society. We need to look younger, and better. So we look for the quick fix. How ever the results will never be long lasting. WHY? Because we cannot stick to these fad diets and fat burning supplements for ever. What will work? Long term you need to make a change in how and what you eat.

Burn the Fat with Foods You Eat

So what's the magic formula to losing weight fast and getting past this plateau of weight loss that we normally reach when following fad diets. Our metabolism is what works to burn foods and calories that we take in. It burns at a rate which is established by our eating patterns, and habits from the day before. If you eat always eat the same low calorie diet then you hit a point where you'll plateau at a certain weight level. In order to break through that barrier you need to change your eating patterns to stimulate your metabolism. Simple changes you can make to start this happening is to change up how often you eat, eating more then three small meals a day. Also not getting into a routine of eating the same types of foods each day.
