Blackfriars is one of the popularly known Undergrounds in London city and there is a lot which you can see and roam around. • The Tate Modern – It is Britain’s national museum of modern art and is directly linked to the St. Paul’s Cathedral via the famous Millennium Bridge. Its design was taken from an international design competition which was open to all architects and engineers have come from across the globe. Engineers Ove Arup and company and sculptor Anthony Caro won the competition and the bridge was completed in June 2000.
Theaters:
• Bridewell Theater – The capacity of the theater is about 150 and is perfectly located in the City of London.

• Shakespeare’s Globe- As the name suggests the globe is entirely dedicated to the Shakespeare’s works. The globe consists of three interlinked components. This is the most visited London attraction as thousands of people come and visit Shakespeare’s Globe every year. It is still expanding with additional educating facilities and library.

This is particularly an inspiring district which introduces visitors to both the contemporary attractions and historic sights. As far as areas history is concerned, the Blackfriar pub which was built in 1875 remains a monument
