Candida Albicans Cure - By: Shantih Coro

The fungus that causes candidiasis (more commonly known as a yeast infection) is called Candida albicans. It is well known problem among women but it is estimated that most of the Americans have Candida without knowing it and many times is not detected from regular lab testing to the doctor. The reason is because doctors usually run a 1 day stool test but candida might show up on day 1, 2, 3 or 4. For this reason many people are not properly diagnosed and it is necessary to request a 4 days in row random stool test. Candida is so common that all my clients undergo an anti-candida program without testing.

The following is a partial list of early indicators of candidiasis (yeast infection) to give you an idea of how far-reaching this serious health problem can become. Review this list and see if you're suffering any of these conditions:

Constipation
Pain in the Joints
Burning Urinations
Irregular or No Menstrual Cycle
Frequent Headaches
Chronic Fatigue
Mood Swings
Irritability
Nasal Itching
Chronic Congestion
Muscle Pain
Sore Throat
Gas and Bloating
Mouth Blisters
Blurred Vision
Eye Floaters
Depression and Anxiety
Inability to Lose Weight

The most common causes of Candida Albicans are:

1) Antibiotics Medications
2) Penicillins
3) Tetracyclines
4) Aminoglycosides
5) Consumption of refined carbohydrates, sugars and sweeteners
6) Consumption of animal products which have been given antibiotics
7) Chronic Stress
8) Birth Control Pill
9) Many Medications

Why is there this rampant increase of yeast infection in our society? Why our body is not able to defend itself? Again the cause is to trace in our lifestyle.

In our gut it is estimated that we have around 4 lbs of bacteria, some beneficial and some not which live together in symbiosis. Most of the food we consume today feed the bad bacteria, the antibiotics which are contained in the foods we eat and that are prescribed too easily by doctors wipe out all the bacteria in the gut the good and the bad ones. The bad bacteria are more resistant and are left with no competition and can overgrow in number leading to what is called 'pathogen overgrowth".

Even when candida is detected doctors tend to prescribe antibiotics and antimicrobial or some nutritionist can recommend a candida diet and some supplements. In the past doctors used to prescribe Nystatin every time they were prescribing antibiotics which is basically an anti candida antibiotic but for some reason this practice has been abandoned. In both cases, one might feel better but candida always will come back or stay silent in our body damaging our gut, bones, respiratory system and organs. Many women with vaginal discharge use topic creams which are totally useless since the real problem is in the gut.

The avoidance of certain foods that feed Candida might be useful but is not the solution neither is antimicrobial supplements or probiotics alone. In order to live candida free is necessary to change our nutritional habits eating whole foods, strengthen the gut, repair the intestinal mucosa and create a rich gut flora, otherwise candida will always come back independently which diet, medication or supplement you will be taking.
