Bikaner is situated in the middle of Thar Desert. Camel safari is very famous in Bikaner. It is even called as camel city. The largest camel breeding farm is also situated in Bikaner. You can enjoy camel safari to visit Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh palaces and various temples located there. Due to popularity of camel, Bikaner also hosts Camel Festival every year. Camels are decorated with jewellery and ornaments in the festival. Camel dance, camel race and other things are also part of this festival. Not only Bikaner but Pushkar and Jaisalmer also celebrate camel festival.

Rajasthan is the land of fair and festival. Almost every season in Rajasthan begin with a fair or festival. Rajasthan fair & festivals is also a tourist attraction of Rajasthan. Many tourists prefer cultural Rajasthan tours and attend the fair and festival to explore its colorful culture and tradition.

Jodhpur is also situated at the edge of Thar Desert. Though it is separated from Thar Desert but has prominent presence of desert and therefore, offers opportunity for camel safari. Mehrangarh Fort, Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jaswant Thada, Mandore Garden, etc are the popular attractions Jodhpur.
