California is one of the 50 states which make up the USA. It is located on the stunning west coast and shares its borders with the Pacific Ocean, Oregon, Nevada, Arizona and the Mexican state of Baja California in the south. The weather in California can vastly vary, most of the state may enjoy a Mediterranean like climate with warm summers and cool winters, but some areas, especially the further inland can encounter cold winters and even snowy conditions. California is the most populated state in the U.S and it is responsible for around 13 percent of the United State’s gross domestic product (GDP).

California’s people and culture can vary hugely and is well known for its open mindedness and varying cultures which makes for a memorable visit, whatever your interests.
