If you want to get a job that involves working with kids or vulnerable adults then you will have to apply for the Criminal Records Bureau or CRB enhanced disclosures, also called as police CRB checks. Two copies of this certificate are produced where one copy is sent to you at your home address and one copy to the company who is going to hire you or already hired.

To apply for a CRB enhanced disclosure, you will require to submit relevant documentation.

Three documents are required to apply for a CRB disclosure to complete the form. One out of three documents must be from the following:

Provisional or full UK driving license

Connexions Card
NHS Card
Store Card
Non-original UK Birth Certificate
Exam Certificate
Marriage Certificate
Credit Card Statement
Utility Bill
Mail Order Statement
Bank or Building Society Statement
P45 or P60 Statement
Addressed Payslip
Vehicle Registration Document

You must remember some points:

One of the three documents must include your current address.
All three documents must be valid and original
You must know your previous address details for the last 5 years
