Plastic surgery of all types is gaining popularity on countries around the world. Finally, breast implants may be used to help women with gender identity disorder. Women with gender identity disorder feel as though they were born the wrong gender. These transwomen, biologically born as men, may seek various methods to change their bodies to reflect what they feel is their inherent gender. Many seek cosmetic surgery to give their bodies a more feminine shape. However, despite these corrective uses, most breast implants are given for purely cosmetic reasons. Some women feel incredibly insecure about their bodies. In a quest to achieve validation through Men's desiring of them, they become caricatures of what they believe men find attractive.
