Board games are the perfect time pass and leisure sport for kids. During their free time kids love to associate themselves with these leisure sports. Board games are the most powerful and entertaining mind destination games all over the world…since ancient time’s board games were used to instill mind gaming tactics in kids so that they enjoy their leisure time and learn the new tactics and strategies for a powerful mind gaming spree!!! It is a mind game or strategy mechanism in which counters or pieces are placed, removed, or moved on a premarked surface or a set board or surface according to a set of rules. Games may be based on pure strategic chaos, chance or a mixture of the two and usually have a goal which a player aims to achieve. Early board games represented a battle between two armies and most current board games are still based on beating opposing players in terms of counters, winning position or accrual of points (often expressed as in-game currency)
Board games for kids are quite useful and productive method of entertainment because they provide complete relaxation and vigor to a kid who is engrossed in studies and day life activities. It’s a complete checker box which comprises white and black square boxes which have a complete hoopla of strategized actions which induce the spirit of game!!! These games were incorporated with the idea of inculcating brain and mind strategies in kids which are very important for complete personality development of a kid. It is an important paradigm in the mind game segment for kids….
An important dimension describing the variation in board games is the level of randomness or luck mechanism involved in game play, as opposed to the influence of player’s strategic moves. Some games, such as chess or checkers depend almost entirely on player skill. Children's games, on the other hand, tend to be very luck-based, with games such as candy land and having no decisions to be made. Most board games for kids are a combined element of fun, entertainment and learning which involve both luck and strategy. A player may be hampered by a few poor rolls of the dice in risk execution or monopoly practice, but over many games a player with a superior strategy will win more often. While some purists or people who believe more in their own capabilities consider luck to not be a desirable component of a game, others counter that elements of luck can make for far more diverse and multi-faceted strategies as concepts such as expected value and risk management must be considered.
The various jargons which are used in board games are as follows: game board, game piece, jump, space, hex, card, deck and capture!!!!
