Black and White Nature Photography Can Leave an Imprint on a Person - By: Keith Spangler

The great thing you'll find about black and white nature photography is all the inspiration that can be provoked. An image is seen of something incredibly beautiful and it makes you feel like you are actually there - you feel like a part of that photograph - it puts you in awe of the photo . And that is what photographers want to put in those who see their photos .

Impressions made by fine art photography of naturemakes on an individual is subjective as photography happens to be. If three people look at the same fine art photograph , they all may get a different impression . This photography can make a bad impression on one person , the other person may get a good impression and a totally different impression on the third person .

Look at a duck photograph in its own habitat. One person may see it and makes a comment on the colors on the wings of the duck. They may mention that the crisp clear reflection is so great that it seems there's another duck right there . Those drops of water that cling to the duck look like many little diamonds lying there on the beautiful warm brown duck feathers. The second person may see the same photo including the duck and says that the water looks murky and the duck seems to be unhappy and lonely . A third person may simple shrug their shoulders and say ... "it's a duck."

The photographer of the photo will definitely want the photo to offers more of an impression than a shoulder shrug and lame comment This is of course the beauty of how this type of photography makes an impression - honest, open, and of course, subjective . For enthusiasts of nature , this photography becomes part of their life .

Black and white nature photography takes the viewer to that place . If you see a beautiful photo of waves crashing against jagged rocks long enough , you feel like you are there - you can just about feel the warm sea breeze , smell and hear the water as it crashes on the rocks . This is the very way people should be impressed with a piece of nature photography.

Our lives include fine art photographs of nature by hanging them on the wall at home, used as computer backgrounds, and they even are put on t-shirts to wear. Impressions that come along with black and white nature photography - whether good, bad or indifferent - lets us have an opinion of our own about what we like and don't like . These photos make an everlasting impression .
