Bern Helmets Accel, Thanks to Innovation and Technology - By: L9 Matt

Bern Helmets are developing a hardy influence on the aggressive sports industry. From biking to skiing, Bern is manufacturing a set of head protections that are unrestrained, appealing, and lastly, safe.

Bern is a pretty new manufacturer in the helmet business, but their attention to innovation across all sports has rapidly begun to take hold. Their †most unique development so far is manufacturing helmets that are suitable for any action sport, no matter what the conditions. For instance, the Macon helmet works well in the bike park in the summer, and also for snowboarding in the Winter. All that is required, is to change out the liner in the helmet. Really, that's it. So now there's no need to purchase a new helmet for each sport. You can just switch out the liners. It make things that much easier, and that much cheaper.

Besides the all seasons performance of the helmets, Bern has also explored the way that helmets fit. In total, there are three styles of helmets in a bunch of different styles utilizing the Hard Hat with Brock Foam, the Zip Mold, and the EPS. The Zip Mold helmets focus on being super light. In this style, The Berkeley and Brentwood helmets are available. To maintain a low weight, these helmets include a soft shell design, which absorbs greater force on impact than typical hard shell helmets. These helmets will bend and crack when the impact is great than normal. That doesn't sound right, does it? Well in actuality, the reason that the helmet breaks is because the helmet takes a ton of force. The result is your brain receiving even better protection. Good thinkin' Bern.

The EPS fit is short for Expanded Polystyrene. This is a scientific term meaning "super high impact foam." other than protection, one of the pluses of the EPS fit, is that the high quality foam allows for the helmet to utilize a lighter shell. The end product is reduced weight, and additionally, increased comfort. The EPS model is made in almost every model, including the Muse, Watts, Brighton, Lenox. Each of these helmets includes light weight, and incredible protection.

The Hard Hat style comes with Brock foam, which uses a lower density and allows air to move through the foam, creating a super comfortable, and well ventilated helmet. In combination with the Brock foam, they uses a fatter, ABS shell on the Hard Hats, to give you a a bit more safety. You should know though, that while the Hard Hat is super comfortable and gives a a good amount of protection, it doesn't meet the same standards as Bern's other products. The Hard Hat model comes in theWatts, Baker, Muse, Brighton, and Macon models.

So as you can see, Bern is constantly devising some fresh ideas to the freestyle sports industry. Not only can you use these for all action sports, but they also make helmets in a wide variety of fits and styles. But if you're still not sure, maybe you'd be interested†to find out that Bern also sells audio kits that plug into the helmets, allowing you to have a personal soundtrack for your freestyle sport. Obviously, Bern Helmets are a great company.

Now that I've got you stoked on Bern, maybe you'd want to know where you can find cheap Bern Helmets? If you're not sold yet, perhaps you'd just like to learn more about Bern?
