Cornwall in the south west of England is a popular tourist destination and has plenty of fun things to do from surfing to horse riding, but booking into a hotel can use up most of your holiday budget leaving little money for activities and food and drink.

This is why many families are opting to stay at the many caravan parks in Cornwall, caravan parks are family friendly, cheaper and in a sunny area like Cornwall lots of fun. You get your own privacy in your own caravan or rented caravan much more than in a Travelodge or hostel and you get to choose between cooking in the caravan, or you could go out every night with the money you saved.

By choosing a caravan holiday you are saving lots of time and money, as you no longer have to search through hundreds of holiday brochures and websites to find the best deal or package holiday. Cornwall has some of the best Caravan parks in the whole of the UK and typically has much better weather than the northern counties like Yorkshire and Cumbria and Scotland. Cornwall is on the milder west side of the country and although gets a nice cool breeze off the sea, the climate is similar to that of northern France.

Many young people flock to Cornwall in the summer with vans and caravans to enjoy the surfing in Cornwall as the waves create great surf. This has become a great getaway for younger people who have BBQ's and parties as the sun sets. Families also enjoy the beaches and activities in Cornwall and with lots of walks and hills you can go cycling or horse riding or just enjoy the water sports by the sea. With a lot of tourism the Cornish authorities keep the beaches clean and safe and crack down on any anti social behaviour making the county a lovely place to visit for young and old, couples or families.

Caravan parks in Cornwall are often fitted with entertainment such as bars, swimming pools, tennis and child care and with fully fitted kitchens you may have no reason to leave the caravan park if you don't want to.
