Phascolarctos cinereus is the scientific name for koala Species Of Bears and is an arboreal marsupial and has similarities of a wombat. Koala Bear usually place their young inside their pouch just like kangaroos and wombats. Joey is the name of their offspring and is normally remain inside their pouch for more than 6 months and because of this, their offspring usually measures for about a quarter of inch in height.

They haven't any ears and no sight and no fur as well through the time when they are still inside their mother's pouch. Senses will develop right after six months and up until that time, they need to drink their mother's milk to live. Right after the next six months they begin the journey outside their mother's pouch and are still remaining on their mother's side and usually rides on their backs up until they are a year old.

Koalas Bears can only be present in Australia. They are herbivores and their diet usually consists of eucalyptus leaves. Their movement is slow and their digestive system is slow as well. They usually sleep for at least 19 hours and the remaining five hours will be spent in looking for food and eating.

Koala Species Of Bears is analogous with humans because they too have their own set of fingerprints. They aren't solitary bears but love to socialize and stay in groups. They are territorial type of bear and that additionally they form bonds and relationship with other communities as well. They stay on their tree and every koala bear have their own boundaries that surrounds his or her home and this boundaries may overlap with other koala bear's boundaries as well yet they live peacefully. They mark their own trees by their scent and spend their time in communicating with other koalas. The mother koala and their offspring communicate by a humming or even a clicking sound. When they create a high piercing type of yell this usually signals other koalas that they're in distress and warn them that a danger is coming.

Koala Bear only eats eucalyptus tree. When the eucalyptus forest was harvested, their species where threatened to be extinct. Almost 80% in the entire forest was harvested which none of the area was protected by the government. The lands in this eucalyptus forest was privately owned. Because of deforestation, forest fires and harvesting of the eucalyptus trees, koala Species Of Bears are now extinct.
