Beach Wedding Decorations - An Amazing Experience - By: Lise Rina

The question has been popped, so now the next big decision is the date. But right now you are deciding what theme to go for to make your big day the most memorable. If you are like most people, you are looking for something unique. Something that will bring fun and spice to the memories that will be with you for the rest of your life. Beach wedding decorations can come in many types and it is best to think out of the box.

As the guests walk to the buffet of food toasts are given and the reception begins. Every thing is in the details of such a theme. Tiki torches are easily found in any Wal-mart or K-mart for the outside decorations.

Out door Receptions: Many people will tell you that if you are going with an beach theme outdoors it might seem cheesy or that it will look off. Here are a few tricks that you can do to make any outdoor setting look beautiful and accomplish the feeling of the beach. Imagine if you will this particular set up.

The tables that are set up in the distance like some luau you have never been to. The soft browns and golden colors of the fabric lay across as if they were to blend in to the sand that is carefully spread around the area of the wedding. Tiki torches line the area giving off a harmonious glow to ward off the party crashers that will show up.

A note on weddings held on the beach: Although it can be very romantic, a wedding on the beach causes more outside people to attend. Meaning more party crashers. Don't do the wedding in the middle of the day. The sun can have some serious effects on the gathering.

The ti leaves can easily be replaced by any kind of fern. This set up will run the bridal party (depending on how many people are attending) $200-$500. It may be simple and easy but that is the purpose of such beach themed weddings.

The food is another topic. If you fully want the 'tropical beach' you might want to look into recipes that are from the islands. A typical main dish you would find at any luau is the Kailua Pork. This is relatively easy to make if you want to cut costs. Buy the pork.

You want to saturate it in liquid smoke and rock salt. Wrap it up in foil and cook it for about 4-5 hours depending on how many pounds you are cooking. Another local favorite is of course sashimi. Which is raw fish. But I would suggest not going raw since the wedding ceremony can last for a while. I would however make sure there is plenty of rice, salad, and exotic fruits like dragon fruit or papayas.
