Be Environment Friendly – Use Solar Energy to Power up Your Mobile - By: mitch edwards

With a ton of warnings that we hear everyday regarding the failure of humanity to take care of the Earth we live in, it would not be surprising if you feel just a bit guilty about the technologies you are dependent on for survival. Just imagine the limited resources you are helping to exploit by using electricity in your everyday lives, not to mention the amount of toxic wastes you help dump into the earth everyday by just using up batteries and other lead-containing or emitting machines.
Fortunately, they say that we still have the chance to make things better, if not cause a major turn about in the situation we have put Mother Nature in. This change though, can only be achieved if we each start taking concrete actions to help save the environment one step at a time. It is true that we cannot just wait passively for the change to happen.
It is a good thing that some advocates for change have started to show tangible ways to start the change. Technological advancements can be geared toward tools that we can use fro everyday life and at the same time, protect Mother Earth. One of these advancements comes in the form of a solar powered mobile battery charger.
A cellular phone is something of a phenomenon, much like the computer and the internet. It has become ubiquitous in our day to day lives and has guaranteed itself a place in modern technological victories. Everyone owns one, and it is used for a myriad of communication needs, including online interactions.
The solar powered- battery charger replaces the conventional outlet-reliant charger. You will find that this solar charger is compatible with a lot of known cell phone provider brands such as Samsung, LG, Nokia and Sony Ericsson.
You might think that since this is a new technology that it is inconvenient to lug around with you everywhere. In fact, with its weight of 5 ounces, you can probably fit it in any of your hand bags or clutch bags, or in the glove compartment of your car.
The solar powered battery charger is efficient and would keep your mobile phone going at its normal standby and active hours with just an hour of charging under sunlight. While it is true that you might find it inconvenient to not be able to charge at night, what is one hour of charging during lunch hour compared to a lifetime, and more, of environmental destruction ruin?
