This affiliate marketing system consists of five steps. It forms the basis and structure of effective affiliate marketing. Make sure the incentive you offer is related to what your niche market wants, and make sure it is of quality content. Do not give out fluff. Another point I would like to highlight is, the domain name you use for your affiliate leads capture page should be related to the product you are promoting. A reason is it gives you better search engine rankings and people can identify your website or business instantly.

For example in the above example, an ideal domain name would be "howtoimproveyourgolfswing.com"

Day / Step 4: Following Up With Your Leads

To do email follow-ups with your leads, you need to subscribe to an email service provider. It manages your list and provides you with an autoresponder. An autoresponder is basically a web service that allows you to mail to your list anytime you want. You can preload your autoresponder with messages so that whenever new subscribers opt-in to your list, they automatically receive your preloaded content. An autoresponder service I recommend is GetResponse. I have been using it so far with no problems.

So now it is time for you to start preloading your auto responder with high quality content for your prospects to learn from and apply. This content serves two purposes, firstly to educate your subscribers as well as build a strong relationship with them. Spend time to educate your subscribers and send them content. You need to be genuine in helping. This builds up your credibility. Be generous. Your list will appreciate your efforts. Your content should be given in a simple and straightforward way. Include some excitement in your content and mails.

The key is to help them get what they want. If they want to learn how to take care of dogs, give them information accordingly. Do not send them washing machine repair manuals! Remember to include a link to the product you are promoting.

Day / Step 5: Generate Instant Traffic To Your Leads Capture Page!

By the time you reach this step, you should already have a niche market, a leads capture page ready to capture your visitor's contact details and an autoresponder preloaded with quality content. The last thing you need is targeted traffic. No matter how powerful your business is, without targeted traffic, any online business is bound to fail.

For beginners I recommend using Google Adwords to drive traffic to your affiliate leads capture page. What is Google Adwords? It is a pay-per-click advertisement campaign launched by Google. The advantage of this is that you only pay for advertisements that work. What does that mean? It simply means you pay for each person that clicks to your website through the generated advertisement. This is by furthest the most effective and efficient way of generating highly targeted traffic.

Go to Google's Adwords campaign website and then register an account. After you have done so, refer back to the keyword research list you have written just now. Make sure the keywords you select have quite a number of people searching for the terms on a regularly basis. Lastly, generate your pay-per-click advertisement based on your requirements. Google have some really good tutorials to help you along the way while you create your own advertisement so do not worry.

Here are some tips that you should consider before generating your pay-per-click advertisement.

1) How much are you willing to spend on PPC advertisements on a monthly basis?

2) How much do you have to pay for each click to be listed on the first page of sponsored listings?

3) How much is your conversion rate?

4) What is the commission amount for each successful referral?

5) Can the profits from your PPC advertisements be enough to sustain an ongoing advertising campaign? Now you know the 5 steps that successful affiliate marketers use personally.
