As a man in Bangkok you are inundated with options as to how best to spend your evening. One thing for sure is that you will never ever be bored at night when staying in the capital of the land of smiles. Regardless of your preferences and taste's there is bound to be something or somewhere that appeals to you. The go go scene is always popular as it offers up some great looking women and occassionally superb shows. Whatever sort of girl you're looking for in Bangkok you are certain of finding her if you look hard enough.

With regards to nocturnal activities it is best to start out at one of the many beer bars dotted around Bangkok as it will give you the chance to mull over your plan of action for the evening ahead. You can also have a nice beer while flirting with the bar girls in attendance. One to recommend is defnitely the Big Dog bar based in the Nana Entertainment Plaza (NEP) as it offers you a great visual base to observe all the going's on around what is a very busy area. Have a few drinks there before moving on to you go go's of choice.

The main go go bars themselves are to be found in three areas, namely Soi Cowboy, NEP and Patpong. Soi Cowboy is probably the most popular go go area at the moment as it offers good value for money, nice clubs and a decent selection of girls every night. The best clubs to look out for are The Dollhouse, Shark, Long Gun and Suzie Wong's. Barfines in all go go's will be 5/600 baht with short time prices of 1500 baht and long time 2-2500 baht all in.

NEP is still very popular and has a great mix of go go's to take in regarding the range of shows and girls on offer. Prices for drinks are dearer than in Soi Cowboy with a beer around 130 baht. The girls may also ask for more for both short and long time but try and negotiate down to Soi Cowboy levels. Some of the best go go's are Angel Witch, Carousel, Rainbow 4 and G-spot.

Patpong has been on the slide over the last few years and this can mainly be put down to the over touristy feel of the place and too many touts and rip off merchants plying their trade. However, King's castle 2 is a decent go go to make a visit to if you want a quality selection of girls. Prices will be higher but try and get them down to Soi Cowboy levels.
