Bacteria Vaginitis - By: Janet Henderson

Bacteria vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina caused by bacteria.

You may be wondering to yourself, “Well, how did the bacteria get there in the first place? Who put it there? Who can I blame?”

There could be three ways that bacteria vaginitis occurs:
1. through a sexually transmitted disease that you got from an infected partner
2. through an infection you gave yourself, such as what would occur from soiled panties. (This transmits E. coli bacteria and other harmful pathogenic microbes that arise in the colon to the vagina. Once these bacteria get inside the vagina and start reproducing, you have bacteria vaginitis.)
3. through an imbalance of your own vaginal flora. (Your vaginal flora contains harmful bacteria – ones powerful enough to cause disease. However, they are in small numbers and can do nothing unless given the right environment to grow rampant. Under the right circumstances, a bacteria vaginitis can occur.)

From these three causes, you see that only in one third of the cases (if we’re saying that they all occur at an equal frequency) someone else is to blame. In the other two cases, the cause of the bacteria vaginitis is you! Yes, it’s true. Bacteria live inside us all and if the balance of them in the body is upset, you can cause your own infections.

Bacteria vaginitis is something you should be concerned about. If ever your vagina doesn’t smell as fresh as it should, you need to start doing things that can restore the proper bacteria in the vagina. Otherwise, BV will occur.

The problem with this condition is that there’s a bacteria causing problems down there in your sensitive and private parts. This problem has the potential of moving into your female organs. And as you know, any bacterial infection that moves into an organ can never have good consequences. That’s why it’s so important to do something about it. At the first hint of symptoms, schedule a doctor’s visit. Have a few cultures taken. You must find out what it is that you have. Don’t let it go – bacteria vaginitis can lead to pelvic inflammatory disease and you could die from it!

Because this is so close to your precious female reproductive organs, it can cause problems if you get pregnant. It may even cause problems with the unborn baby.

Bacterial infections can occur if your immunity is low; and this infection is the same. If you’re working yourself too hard, you must slow down when you get symptoms of infection. Take care of your body!
