Baby shower games for grown ups. - By: Nick Campbell

Baby shower games are one of the best ways to relax the guests at a baby shower and to keep the party going. The purpose of a baby shower is to celebrate the coming of a new child into the world so why not make the baby shower something of grown-up's version of a kid's party? You can even add baby shower balloons and have amusing baby shower invites for the guests, and have nice simple food, with jelly, cake and ice cream.

You can make baby shower games that are grown up versions of kid's party games, sometimes it is certainly a case of the sillier the better. As an example, there are many variations on the traditional Pin The Tail on the Donkey game where a blindfolded guest is spun around to disorient them and then pointed in the direction of a wall with a pinboard containing a picture of a tail-less donkey. The blindfolded guest has a tail in their hand with a pin in one end and they have to pin it where they think the donkey's rear end is. The winner of the game is the one who gets the tail closest to where it should be.

There are several baby shower variations of this game, one of which is "Pin the baby on the mother" where the donkey is replaced for a picture of mum, and the guests have to pin the baby as close to the tummy as they can. When the guests are grown ups, some of whom may not be entirely sober and the mood is getting a little cheeky the donkey can be replaced for a picture of an egg and the tail for a little model of a sperm. This can end up with a good deal of hilarity and nicely warm any party themed baby shower up.
