Attracting Abundance - Using The Power of Your Mind For Attracting Abundance - By: Wizard of Wisdom

Has your mind really got the power of attracting abundance, or indeed anything else? I believe that our minds do have such power, and I'll give you a personal example of when my own mind has attracted abundance.

The problem is that we've mostly been conditioned to believe that our minds are useful simply for reacting to life, not for creating it. We tend to go from day to day hoping that things will stay on a more or less even keel but knowing that we can bring our mind's ability to problem solve to the fore should any mishaps occur.

This is a kind of blind way to go through life, and is unlikely to result in attracting abundance. The fact is, whilst your brain may be the organ through which the mind is "received" in much the same way as your television is the instrument through which the programme signals are received, your mind is far more than your brain, and is capable of astonishing feats.

Your mind, however, is far more versatile than perhaps you've given it credit for. It can spontaneously produce ideas that "you" can't tell where the origin of - as if there was a genius living inside you that isn't "you."

We're all familiar with the notion of "sleeping on something" - as if we instinctively know that we can trust our minds to solve a problem or to tell us what is the right decision whenever we have a dilemma.

Notice that you have the ability to change your mind. That is quite astonishing when you think about it. You can't change your legs or the shape of your head, but you can change something that is fundamental to your personality and even your destiny - your very mind!

Another astounding ability we all share is being able to shift our focus. This in turn enables you to plant a seed of intention and then let go and trust that it will grow, like watering a seed when all you can see is brown earth. I once did this when I was totally broke - I mean really down to zero pennies - and for nine days I made myself trust and stay resourceful and positive. On the tenth day I was offered work worth literally thousands of pounds for just a few days.

I tell the story in detail on my website, the link to which is below at the end of this article. You could put it down to "coincidence" (meaning random luck), and I couldn't prove you wrong. However, what I will say about that is this: If that offer had come in at any other time in my life I would have been grateful of course. But at that precise moment it was manna from heaven. It was absolutely a miracle.

Attracting abundance into your life begins with an inner knowing that you are the source of all you need. That knowing in turn comes from shifting your focus from without to within. (As Neale Donald Walsch so neatly pointed out in "Conversations With God" - "... if you don't go within, you go without."
