Article marketing is one of the most overlooked methods of promotion around. It’s amazingly effective, but hardly any businesses use it. The reason this is such a great way to promote your business is that it provides content. People may dislike ads, but they love informative content. Articles submission can result in higher levels of traffic and really boost the rankings of a website, as well.

This is one of the easiest methods to build an online reputation, as well. Start out with ten or so well written articles that cover the keywords targeted on your site. Each of these should be submitted to an article directory.

Many people worry about duplicate content and while that can be an issue, it is usually fine to submit the same article to several directories. Avoid doing the same one for 100 directories, but if you have, 30 or so, it’s fine to use the same one and will save money.

The main problem with this method of promotion is that most business owners just don’t have time to sit down and write ten articles a week or even a month. Articles submission takes time, too, usually time that the business owner just doesn’t have. That’s why most of them just outsource it all.

When outsourcing, it’s important to have a native English speaker write the articles. Correcting simple mistakes in grammar is rarely worth it and can take up so much time that it’s just not worth paying for. Instead, hire someone who is an expert and can whip out quality articles that need no revisions.

Outsourcing the articles submission is another area that works well for saving time. A virtual assistant will be able to submit those articles quickly and easily. Or, even better, look for a service that offers writing and submission all in one.
