Hi today we are going to look at how article writing can be easy and fun.

How do you write an article? Article writing can sometimes seem like a daunting task. And complicated. But using the correct technique can make article writing much simpler and alot more fun too.

How do you select an article title, for example. Or how do you select the subject you are going to write about?

First, in most cases, you select your subject. The subject should be one you are familiar with, or at least comfortable writing about. It is helpful to have written about your subject before. If you are unfamiliar about a particular subject then try to familiarize yourself with it by reading other articles or books about that subject.

Second you pick your article title. A good title is key to a good article. Try to be as direct and relevant as possible in your title wording. An eye catching title is a great addition to an article; it is the first thing a reader sees about your article.

Third write a great description. A description is often the first 3 or so sentences of your article and introduces (along with the title) you reader to what is in the article body. The description should not be too wordy and really be as short as possible to accomplish this task. Also remember the description, again along with the title, is what is visible in the search engine rankings. So make your description a good one.

Fourth then make your article body. Again don't make your article too long. Be conscious of your reader's time investment in reading your article and be as short and to the point as possible. Follow good grammar (a rule for all parts of your article). Don't jump around from topic to topic withing your article; let your article flow smoothly. Write an outline, and then a rough draft, of your article before you publish it. Proofread your article for mistakes in grammar or other changes you may want to make. Have a friend proofread your article too and make suggestions about any changes to be made.
