2. Drinking 3-4 cups of alfafa tea daily for at least two weeks is a tried and tested cure for arthritis. Prepare alfafa tea by mixing one teaspoon of alfalfa seeds in one cup of water.

3. Lavender, chamomile, rosemary oil and other such essential oils are some of the effective home remedies for inflammations caused by arthritis.

4. Every morning, take lime juice diluted in water. The citric acid present in lime is a solvent of uric acid which is the primary cause of some types of arthritis.

5. Drinking a small glass of cranberry juice every morning speeds up the curing process. The results will begin to show within 2-3 months.

Joint Pain

Joint pain is one of the symptoms of arthritis. It affects one or more joints. It can be caused due to various types of injuries or conditions. Joint pain can also be caused by the inflammation of the bursae known as bursitis. The bursae are fluid-filled sacs that cushion and pad, bony parts, allowing free movement of muscles and tendons over the bone.

Home remedies for Joint Pain

1. One of the best home remedies is to massage warm olive oil into the area with the joint pain. This helps to stop bursitis pain from recurring.

2. Adding lavender oil drops to your bath water can also help keep spasms of joint pain at bay.

3. Boil 1 tsp. of cayenne pepper and one cup of apple cider vinegar, soak a rag in the mixture, and place it on the affected area.

4. If you suffer often from bursitis, you should mix water with honey and apple cider vinegar to drink daily as well.

5. Finally, you can also take an all natural anti-inflammatory supplement such as Celadrin to lessen the inflammation and to ease some of the pain.
