Are coaching classes useful for school going students? - By: admissionjankari

When it comes to, ‘are coaching classes useful for school going students?’, there are two ways of looking at it, namely, coaching classes provided to students of primary classes and coaching classes provided to students of higher classes. \r\n\r\nIf we talk about the tuitions being given to primary level students, coaching classes are not that useful. Tuitions provided at this stage only act as a burden for children. Little children of classes I to VIII do not require pressure of studies but overall development. This overall development can be given to children by engaging them in activities which they like such as dancing, singing, sports, etc. \r\n\r\nHowever, this does not mean that their studies should be neglected completely because the clarity of concepts at this stage is important. But their studies should not be over-emphasized by sending them to coaching classes. A little care on their studies at home is enough at this stage. Parents should take some time out of their schedules and should teach their little children at home only as because of this the children will get some time to spend with their parents and also parents will get to know where their children stand.\r\n\r\nNow, if we talk about the students of higher classes, that is, from standard IX to XII, the coaching classes are certainly useful for them. This is because the studies from class IX onwards become intense and it is not possible for parents to take care of their studies at home. Also, today, with the transformation of education into business, schools have an average of fifty students in a class. With so many students in one class, teachers are not able to concentrate on each student properly.\r\n Many times, teachers do not even remember the name of all the students of a class. In such a scenario, many students suffer, especially the weaker ones. \r\nAlso, the intelligent students who study very sincerely in their school need tuitions at this stage. This is because their concepts which they study at school get revised in tuition and the clarity becomes more. Moreover, coaching teachers at this stage teach them keeping in mind the weaknesses of the students and demands and trends of the market of education. All this helps students a lot. Thus, tuitions at this stage when the career of a student becomes very important are useful. \r\n\r\nIn the conclusion, coaching classes are certainly useful for the students of high-school but not for the students of primary school. While coaching classes act as a burden for little children, coaching classes act as add on for higher level children. The needs and priorities for the children of both age-groups are different. Thus, the level of emphasis of education should also be different on both age groups. \r\n
