Buying these kinds of clothes does have its drawbacks, though. There are some people that check and see what brands your clothes are, and they'll notice right away that you aren't wearing a designer label. Off brands are also hit and miss when it comes to quality. Since likely won't be familiar with the name, you really have no idea what kind of quality you are going to get. These kinds of clothes generally don't last as long as name brands as well, meaning you'll need to replace them more often.

So how do you know which is best for you? Many people like to find a happy medium. They'll have three or four outfits that are name brands, and they keep these for special occasions. Other times when they are hanging out with friends or family, generic brands are perfect. That way, you get the best of both worlds.
