Aquaponics is a great way for beginners to get into organic food growth. A system is very easy to set up and can be as big or as small as you want.

If you are a total beginner and this is your first crack at aquaponics then I suggest you start small. This is because when you are new to something mistakes are easily made and it's better to lose a few fish than a whole pond full.

Here are a few tips on aquaponics for beginners.

1. Location.

The location of your fish tank or pond if outdoors is vital because if its placed wrong then you could get an algae attack. It is best to keep your fish out of direct sunlight because this is the cause of the algae.

2. Happy fish are healthy fish.

An aquaponics system requires your fish to be well lokked after in order to perform properly so make sure those bubbles keep flowing in your tank. Also be careful not to overfeed your fish, one ot two flakes per fish per day is ample.

3.Don't let it become a chore.

Aquaponics for beginners is all about keeping things simple so when placing your flower pots in which the vegatables grow make sure you do not place them to high or to low. This will make sure that you don't strain yourself when tending to your harvest.

4. Chemicals.

The great thing about aquaponics is that there are no chemicals needed because your fish provide all the nutrients that your plants need. However from time to time you may have to add some natural growth food if you do not have enough fish.

Thats how easy aquaponics for beginners really is, in no time you can have enough fresh food to feed your familt twice over.
