An Important Sales Tip I Learned At Starbucks - By: Sammie Burton

He said; "I guess this looks really funny doesn't it? I'm trading stocks on my phone, and I'm while using voice features of Siri, on my iPhone 4S to do it. " He also told me that he admitted that he or she hadn't done this before, but he wanted to try the idea, because he doesn't like being stuck at home trading on his laptop in daytime. Yes, the newfound freedom of day trading on your Apple iphone does sound intriguing, but it also sounds a little little bit too easy, and too easy to make a mistake.

In truth, he wasn't sold on the idea either, even though he made 5 trades while I was sitting there. They were trades he previously already thought about, researched, and was going to make nevertheless, but I still wondered if this was a viable way for day trading. Since it is possible, it makes sense that someone could do this at work on their lunch break, or they could take their Apple iPhone on a journey with them while traveling, and watch the stock market, and make trades that they may need to make due to the changing circumstances of the stock market or the performance of a given company.

The reality is it does operate, and it can be done, and this gentleman proved it in my opinion with his own experiment that day at Starbucks. I asked him if he made any money, and he said he won't know until he sells people stocks, he was just buying stocks that day, and not necessarily selling any, so he didn't realize a profit. Which I suppose is a good thing, because if he told me he made five and $10, 000 on trades while I was sitting there speaking with him, I would've asked him to buy me a free Frappachino. Anyway, I hope you will please consider all that, and realize the value of this mobile technology as we head off into the future.

About a year ago an incredible new coffee shop opened up here, and before that, my only exposure to "gourmet" coffees was Starbucks.

I was blown away when I finally tasted the real thing, instead of the mass-produced stuff cranked out by a company. It's like tasting a $60 steak at a high-end steakhouse after eating McDonald's every one of your life.

Even when I visited Seattle recently I couldn't find anything nearly as good.

But, one thing about experiencing truly gourmet java really threw me:

At Starbucks we've all seen the individuals who hold up the line ordering "non-fat this, double-this, soy that, blah blah blah. " But at the real gourmet go shopping, you never see that. Ever. People simply order off your menu.

Why?

Because they won't tolerate some of that crap. They're not going to bastardize their superb beverages just because of someone's silly whims.

Those people can take their business elsewhere, and they do.

It reminds me of as i sold large business telephone systems many years ago. Now and then a prospective customer would sign the contract but cross out and modify some of the terms & conditions printed on the back.
