Amway Scam / Can you reach Diamond Distributor? - By: Darren Star

So you've just taken the leap and became a team member for Amway, or you're thinking about it. You could also already be a part of the team and you haven't reached all your goals within the company yet.

I plan on giving an overview of Amway and their business opportunity. The pros and cons of the company. I come from a sales background and have quite a bit of experience in both MLM and the sales industry.

What is Amway?
Amway is a family mlm company with a focus on beauty, wellness and home care products. Part of their product/services offered are unmatched in MLM distribution due to sheer numbers involved and the stability of the company. AM has had success for over 40 years and they've been around since the late 50s, I'm in no way affiliated with this business. Their main target market is middle class middle income clientele.

The main product line for Amway is health and beauty products because they're products that need to be replenished constantly, usually by women. AM offers the best type of beauty products available amongst network marketing companies so you get your values worth. Amway offers some of best products available in a lot of categories, selling a high end product enforces a good reputation. In recent years organizational options have been added to their product line, especially given the current economy.

The MLM
As long as MLM exists it will always be criticized by the general public, which is a huge barrier to entry. The company itself is completely legal and legitimate.

You need to build a team and clients. The reps you can't recruit are usually the people you try to turn into your clients, through electronics, home products or anything that they may be able to use. A good position to get to is Silver level. A place that's harder to get to is Diamond distributor. At that level you make over six figures and you're a full time Amway business owner.

Silver distributors can be extremely hard to produce on a consistent basis, really because of the economy and the association of an MLM with the service field. The biggest wall representatives face getting into the mlm world is building the trust of clients they have as you're dealing with one of the most prominent things in someone's life, their money.

It's difficult to build contacts in the network marketing world without having and prior experience, especially in mlm. Trying to learn a business while working full-time and building a huge list of good leads can be extremely difficult. Generating leads is probably the most important thing you can do to build you business but it's always neglected. When reps are doing this job part-time they usually have a full time job and doing all of the previous mentioned can be a daunting task, you can shoot yourself in the foot before you even start.

Having a marketing plan in place before you start anything can be a vital part of your success in Amway. I use the internet myself, and generate all my leads on line for free.
