America’s Wounded Trucking Industry - By: GARKO

The economy has been hit hard in so many ways by the increase in gas and diesel prices but nowhere has it been hit harder than in the trucking industry which is the lifeblood which keeps America circulating. Not the individual household, not the airline industry, nowhere has the impact been greater than on the trucking industry

How much of an upheaval is being caused to truckers and trucking companies by the rapid increase in fuel costs?

The national average price for diesel rose sixteen cents last week from the previous week and has gone up by 1/3rd just since the start of the year

Nearly 1,000 trucking companies filed bankruptcy petitions in the first quarter, up 21 percent from 2007's first quarter.

The impact on the nation and the global economy has ramifications which are severe, permanent and wide ranging. Seventy percent of the goods that Americans consume are trafficked from manufacturers to outlets to consumers by trucks. And this means that the price of all of these items is going to rise beyond just the rise from high inflation and many have already seen huge jumps in prices Go to the supermarket and you will already see this impact. Food prices are being hit by inflation, the artificial scarcity brought on by the shift of growing crops for food to growing crops for energy and the increased costs for the truckers to move food to the supermarket shelves.

Another place where the impact is felt is highway fatalities. There are regulations that truckers are supposed to follow as to how long a duration they can be out on the road driving and how long that they have to rest in between shifts. Under ordinary circumstances these regulations get stretched and truckers are on coffee intravenous and work extended hours driving on our roads and highways. What is happening now, though, is that less financially stable trucking companies are going bankrupt which means that more load is having to be handled by fewer companies and less truckers. Truckers are also willing to work longer hours because they are making less profit per hour. So we have more jackknifed trucks out there on the road and more death and destruction of the lives of America’s truckers and unfortunate souls who happened to be on the road at the time that the driver started to doze and lost control. This is in addition to the lost lives due to biodiesel worldwide because of the shift from growing crops for food to growing crops for energy. Those number in the 10s of millions dieing from starvation and is a hushed up holocaust happening right now.

The devastation visited upon our economy by the Bush administration’s policies and wars as well as the Federal Reserve’s tinkering is going to be with us for decades. If we desire to live anything close to the lifestyle that the last number of generations have enjoyed in this country going into the future then we need to get creative on the grassroots level with real solutions disseminated in the fastest way possible, which right now is the internet.
One such solution is Water4Gas.
WATER4GAS is providing information for a nominal fee which consumers can use at home to build a small gizmo which instills hydrogen into the fuel/air mixture that their car runs on.
The process makes smaller particles out of the particles that the engine burns as fuel. Because of the smaller size it gets to use much more of it.
With WATER4GAS you can minimumly expect to lower your gas usage by 30-50% or even more. Those molecules must have been pretty "blankin'" huge in some systems before. But with W4G they are made consumable so you can lower your gas usage.
It also helps make emissions substantially cleaner.
This information has been purchased by over 10s of thousands of individuals already and the percentage of happy customers is about 99%! So how about you?
