Allergies are abnormal immune system reaction to things that are typically harmless to most people.

When you're allergic to something, your resistant system mistakenly believes that this substance is harmful to your body.
(Substances that cause allergic reactions, such as certain foods, dust, plant pollen, or medicines, are known as allergens.)

In an attempt to protect the body, the immune system produces IgE antibodies to that allergen.

Those antibodies then cause definite cells in the body to release chemicals into the bloodstream, one of which is histamine (pronounced: his-tuh-meen).

An allergy refers to an overstated reaction by our immune system in response to bodily contact with certain foreign substances.

It is exaggerated because these foreign substance are usually seen by the body as harmless and no response occurs in non- allergic people.

Symptoms of Allergies

Symptoms of allergies can be manifest in different ways. These manifestations are called symptom in medical jargon.

The most ordinary symptom of allergy is skin itching. This occurs when the immune system misinterprets the potentially harmless allergens as unsafe foreign bodies and attacks them to fend off the danger.

Skin itching happens at the contact site and can spread to other areas when the patient scratches the skin. Other symptoms comprise runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, hives, ear fullness, etc.

Allergy Treatment

Allergies are abnormal reaction to normally harmless substances. The allergens can be inhaled, swallow or come into contact with the skin.

Allergens that most frequently cause evils are: pollen, mold, dust, foods, animal dander, insect bites, insect spores, viruses and bacteria.

Make a paste from sandalwood and limejuice, apply on the affected area it will provide relief from itching. This is a good home remedy for skin allergy.

Application of mashed almond vegetation to the pretentious area is highly beneficial. This is one of the constructive skin allergy cure.

Make a paste from five grams of backyard mint in water. Sieve the water now add 12 grams of sugar, drink this syrup twice a day for instant relief. This is a good home remedy for skin allergy.

Application of mash papaya seeds on the area reduces itching.

Natural remedy for skin allergy - Application of lemon juice mixed with coconut oil is also beneficial.

Crush 1 tbls of poppy seeds with 1-teaspoon water and 1-teaspoon limejuice. Apply this to affected areas for rapid relief from skin allergies. This is one more good home remedy for skin allergies.

Intake of vitamin C reduces the chances of allergies. 1000mg of the vitamin is optional daily. This is one of the simplest skin allergy remedy.
