Fourthly, he must also pay 150,000 dollars as an equity investment to the government. This payment must be done within two years of landing in the province. If these requirements are met, a person can land up in Manitoba to establish his own business.

Apart from these, he must have been to the province before, for at least 7 days, on an exploratory trip. This helps the person to come-up with a perfect Business plan that fits with the Manitoban land, giving him more chances to be successful.

Classifications

There are various classifications under this Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program PNP-B out of which one must qualify in at least one specific group. They are as follows:

Priority Assessment Stream: Under this category, there are three sub divisions -- Manitoba Employer Direct Stream, Manitoba Regular International Student Stream, and Manitoba Family Support Stream. These are valid for people with temporary work permit of at least 6 months, and have a permanent job offer from his employer, or, one who has been a student in the province, for one or more academic years, or, who has been living in the lad with relative as well as have job experience of two years at least.

General Stream: If anyone has any one of the above mentioned criterion fulfilling, he comes under this group.

Business & Farmer Nominee Program: The applicant can start-up a business venture or procure land to start farming by depositing set amount of money to the government.
