Everyone around us has some idea about the life in rural areas; still many people choose to live in such places because of their pitiable economic condition and very low standard of living. Rural living has many difficulties and we all are very much acquainted to such difficulties.

Rural areas are underdeveloped in nature. The main reason behind the insufficient infrastructural facilities in rural areas is the fact that rural living demands low tax payments. Due to which:
- The roads are never constructed and amended properly.
- These areas do not have proper sanitation and hygiene facilities.
- There are no proper school or health centers here.
- These areas are not clean and properly maintained.

Another reason why rural living is considered to be very difficult is the fact that the people living there do not enjoy privacy. Most of the houses in these areas are poorly constructed and are possessed with either one or two rooms which means, the entire family has to live in the same room. They eat, sleep and serve their guests in the same room resulting in lack of privacy for everyone in the family.

Last but not the least; the rural areas are never safe. The security of these areas in our society is almost zero. No one can ever feel safe to be a part of rural living. These areas are the hub of anti-socials and drug addicts. Therefore the Women and children in rural areas fail to save themselves from becoming a victim to molestation, abuse and addiction. In one word, rural living is difficult. If anyone opts for living in such areas due to its low cost of living then let us tell you that he/she may regret this decision later. After all, it is better to stay somewhere which is free from anti-social activities and infrastructural problems.
