These are not deemed as harmful but the thing is they are invisible ways of trying to gain profit from webmasters who are in dire need of attention and revenue. Some people are just too desperate and it shows from this.

As a rule, when we open our browsers, they either load the default start page, which most often is the site of Microsoft, or the page we have selected to start with. People often change their start page to be Google or Yahoo! because usually the first thing they do when they open a browser is to check their email or perform a search.

But there will be times where page hijackers will find the opportunity to make some changes. Page hijackers will usually bring you to an unknown site without your knowledge. Once this happens, chances are you will think that it is something that some other computer user may have bookmarked by mistake. First thing is to try to go back to your usual start page. If it turns out that you are brought back to the weird page then chances are you have been page hijacked already.

We are pretty aware that each time we connect to the Net and visit sites different tracking links and cookies are stored temporarily on our computer. But there are many people, who are not technical enough to know where to find such nasties and the developers of parasiteware take advantage of that fact.

Although parasiteware is not considered harmful, you should try to remove it. There is no reason to keep tracking links and cookies on your computer. All these parasites invade your privacy and can send your confidential data to places you didn�t want it sent. What is more, is it fair that somebody else makes money by using you this way?

The next time you run a spyware removal tool; don�t be surprised to see parasiteware detected. For sure, most computers today have a lot of them on hand. There is indeed no threat, but they are certainly up to no good.

There is hardly a person in the world, who would want their computer penetrated and this is the reason why people take measures to defend their PC against hijackers. PC hijacking does not sound good and it certainly is an evil. The worst thing you can experience is when somebody has taken control of your computer. When you discover that this has happened, you should rush quickly to find a solution and heal your computer.

These parasites that monitor you are making profits for mean companies. Do you think you should tolerate this?
