When an employer decides to recruit new employees into their organization, they will place an advertisement in the various media like newspapers, television and the Internet where they will provide the specifications regarding the kind of employee they are on the lookout for. The employers and salaried employees act had also made certain specifications regarding the employment advertisements, which are placed by the employer in various media. The advertisements being placed will have to meet all these conditions. Advertisements, which defy them, can be termed as legally punishable. Employers cannot decide that they will not recruit people who might have to go for national service, which is either civil or military at a certain point in time. They cannot restrict such people from applying for the position, which has been advertised.

The employer cannot state in their advertisement that they would prefer to employ a person who can make a reasonable and sound financial investment in the company. The employee should be given the freedom to make a financial investment on their own free will and they should not be forced to do so in order to fulfill the conditions of employment within the company.

All the details regarding the company which is on the lookout for employees will have to be specified in the advertisement. These details include the full name, address and contact details of the company. It is illegal to advertise for employment without providing all the required contact details for the prospective candidates to get in touch with the employer. The other important details, which need to be provided, are the minimum educational qualifications, which need to be possessed by the prospective candidate, as well as the minimum work experience, which will be required. The minimum salary, which is likely to be offered by the company for the position, or post, which is being advertised, should also be stated clearly in the advertisement.

Certain employees will be asked to pay an initial lump-sum amount to the company at the time of initiation into employment. In certain circumstances, the employee will be asked to provide certain assets to the company in the form of a security. These cash or assets, which have been surrendered to the company, will have to be placed in the safe custody of a bank or a financial institution. The signatures of both the employer as well as the salaried employee will be required in order to release these cash and assets from the bank or the financial institution, which has kept them in safe custody.

All the rules and regulations, which have been stated above regarding the advertisement, which is placed for employment by the employer, will have to be followed without any kind of mistake or lapse taking place.
