Nestled on the revered French southern coast, Nice offers a wealth of things to do and activities to try. La Colle-Sur-Loup is another popular area for climbers. The ridged rock face is ideally designed to suit all grades of climbers with many first-time climbers starting here. After scaling this impressive rock formation, the Verdon awaits. Offering salubrious views of the River Verdon and over 800 routes for beginners to families right through to the most ambitious climber, this is seen as a pinnacle of rock-climbing feats in France. When the heights have been scaled and the chopping rapids navigated the plethora of cafes that decorate Nice are ideal for a relaxing evening watching the sun set.
