Acne is a common skin condition. It occurs when oil and dead skin cells clog the skin's pores. Symptoms

Treatment

However, over washing your face could lead to excess drying and the production of more pore-clogging oil, which in turn could cause more acne.

Severe acne may need oral treatment with antibiotics such as tetracycline or hormone therapy.
