Acne Cures You Can Use Today! - By: Hemma Zhang

You have spent your entire life listening to people tell you that you need to wash your face. If you are like most of your friends, you don't really care about washing your face every day--in fact, doing so feels like a chore! When all you want to do is go to sleep, washing your face is a huge pain in the...you know what--even if you can still remember your puberty years like they just finished happening. Here's the thing: you need to keep your face clean to keep dirt and bacteria from infecting your pores. Do you want to have a breakout as an adult? Here are a few hints to help you keep your skin healthy.

Keep your hair away from your face.

The reason your hair should stay away from your face is that your scalp produces oil which gets transferred to your hair which can then clog your pores if your hair is in your face. If you have long hair that gets in your face or bangs that rest against your forehead for most of the day you could transfer that oil to your pores, which will then get clogged and produce pimples and acne. Long hair and bangs are fun for styling and looking good but in order to keep the acne away, you should keep them pulled back and away from your face. This is easiest when you wear a headband or pull your hair into a ponytail or braid. Your face and skin will be so happy!

Do your best to keep your hands away from your face. Most of us don't realize just how often we touch our faces during the day. It is partly all of this touching that helps to clog our pores and cause breakouts. Think about it for a minute. Each time you touch an object and then touch your face you are placing little pieces of that object into your pores. Touching your face is a great way to clog your pores with the oil and other things your hands have touched during the day. This is also one of the reasons colds are so easily transmitted: you touch something that has germs on it and later brush your face with your hands which gives those germs easy access to your nose, mouth and eyes--prime entry portals! Don't touch your face!

Washing your hands often during the day is a good idea if you are not able to stop yourself from touching your face. This means that you should wash your hands often.

Your face should get two washes every day. Your skin is still vulnerable at night when you are asleep. You should have an easy time figuring out a cleansing routine for the mornings and evenings. During the day your pores get heavily clogged by environmental agents, so your evening routine will be more extensive while your morning routine need consist of little more than a quick washing. Your face will thank you for it! Acne can be caused by a wide variety of things. The size and scope of a person's breakouts are not important--what is important is knowing that you are not the only one who gets acne. Acne does not discriminate against age: everyone suffers from it at some point. There are all sorts of cures and aids to help people fight against a breakout or acne problem. You might be able to fix your problem completely with a simple cleanser you buy at the store. You might need the help of a doctor. Just keep trying and soon you'll find the solution you've been looking for!
