Just when people thought every aspect of AS9100 is all set and perfect, a newer version of the matrix AS9100 rev. c was developed, adding features to ensure the qualities of aerospace and aeronautic companies more accurately. Its purpose is to incorporate the features of ISO 9001 and 2008. The scope of the previous version is also expanded, where the newer model covers the aviation defense industries.
