A sexy, slim waistline is what the opposite sex wants - By: Jason Yun

Let's talk about something that most people want. The opposite sex finds it unbelievably appealing. But most people go about getting it in the wrong way. Wasting a lot of time and energy.

I’m talking about 6-pack abs. Or just a flat, sexy stomach. For some reason the stomach is seen as a very sexy part of the body.

But the problem is, that is usually where fat accumulates if we overeat and don’t exercise.

Especially for men. Women will get that beer gut too, but usually not as bad-- other problem areas are the hips, thighs, and butt. But we all want a flat, sexy stomach! So what do we do? Usually we do 3 things. 3 things that are wrong. #1 We usually do lots of ab work. Crunches and situps are probably the most common. But it doesn’t work.

Why? Because you cannot spot reduce a certain body part. You can't make one part of your body look like it belongs to a god or goddess and leave the rest of your body to look like crap. It has to be a collaborative effort on your whole body. #2 and #3: Focusing on weight loss and long-duration cardio.

Just doesn’t work. Why? Again we come back to Metabolism. If you do any of those things it will for surely slow your metabolism down-- big time. A slow metabolism will make it virtually impossible to burn body fat. And it will actually try to increase it’s body fat storage. Because when you have a slow metabolism, it means your body is…. Pretty much dying inside. It’s struggling to perform everything it needs to perform on a regular basis. It’s in ‘survival mode’.

How do you get it out? How do you speed up your metabolism? The 2 main ways are going to be nutrition and exercise.

But not by following any nutrition and exercise program. NO!

The United States is the fattest nation in the world. So you certainly don’t want to follow what the heard is doing when it comes to nutrition.

I've got 3 nutrition and exercise tips for you when it comes to driving your metabolism up.

#1 Eat breakfast. How long have you heard this? Your mother probably told this to you many times when you were young. But it’s true. The chances of you succedding in your health, body, and fitness goals if you skip this are slim and none.

#2 Don't listen to food companies. Food companies jobs are to make more money. They don’t care about you. At all! All they care about it is their bottom line. They will put anything on the package just to sell it to you.

Fat Free

Tans Fat Free

Sugar Free

Reduced Sodium

Reduced Cholesterol

All Natural

Low Carb

Low Calorie

And the list goes on. And on……

Don’t buy into that.

You need to look at the ingredients list, that is the only way to tell if a product is healthy or not.

How do you know if your bread is really whole wheat. It’s not because the company put whole wheat on it—That’s for sure. Does it say ‘enriched’ or does it say ‘whole wheat’ as the first ingredient? If it says ‘enriched’ it’s not real whole wheat.

Now I can't talk about every ingredient you should avoid, that would be a book. But know this if it’s hard to pronounce, and the list is long then it’s probably bad for you.

#3 Strength training and high intensity intervals Alright for this I’m going to demonstrate how you can effectively burn up to 9x more fat then just regular cardio exercise. Everybody wants their body to look and perform better but most people have no clue how to go about and do this.

You see people in the gym going about the same routine day in and day out. I was one of those people, until I got so sick of the workouts and the atmosphere. Some people won’t even go into a gym. Either for fear of being too overweight or fear of looking stupid trying things they’ve never done before.

Well 4-minute fat loss is the answer! This is one of the body weight intervals done in bootcamps and everybody loves it! They might not love it while they’re doing it, but they love the way they feel and the changes it brings about in them. What I’m about to do is called a Tabata workout. It’s simply the most effective fat burning and fitness increasing thing you can do.

Simply pick 1-8 different exercises. For simplicity sake we'll use 2 exercises. Say Squats and Pushups.

Then you perform squats all out for :20 then stop for :10 and do pushups for :20 and then rest for :10. Thats it. Repeat that sequence until 8 total rounds is up.

Ultimate fat loss! Minimal time!
