There was a launch of Food Walk or Culinary Tour as it is called organized by the Delhi Food Adventure. This took place in the place Connaught Place in Delhi. The main idea behind this great tour was to make the tourists to taste and understand the best of Delhi food and other Indian favorite delicacies. This was done in a single evening and that too in perfect and safest settings were given in the venue. This great Connaught Place is named after the Duke of Connaught who visited Delhi in 1921.
Later on this place was renamed after the late Indian Prime Minister as Rajiv Chowk. But this place is popularly known as CP among the local people. Connaught place is a very popular destination for shopping and dining. There are many restaurants in CP. The market place here is also famous and many tourists spend some time in this market during their Delhi visit. Generally people planning for a food tour through the Connaught Place follow the route itinerary described in this article. Local people shall try the route themselves whereas others will need the help of an expert guide to complete the tour successfully. There are also many tour planners across the area for helping the international tourists.
First location shall be selected to be the Embassy. Here we shall taste awesome Mutton Samosas that are really different in taste and texture.
